Here is a step-by-step tutorial to add a birthday field to HubSpot:

1. You need to create a Custom Date Property for this.
2. Go to your HubSpot settings and navigate to the Properties section on the sidebar.
3. Select Contact properties from the dropdown menu under Select an object.
4. Click Create property.
5. Fill in the details:
   • Object type: Contact
   • Group: Contact information
   • Label: Birthday
