How to Add HubSpot Chat to Website
Here's a step-by-step tutorial to add HubSpot chat to your website:
- Navigate to Automations>Chatflows
- Click on the Create chatflow button.
- In the chat flow builder, you can customize the following aspects of your chat widget:
- Welcome message: This is the initial message visitors see when they open the chat.
- Chat appearance: Design elements like colors, fonts, and chat window placement.
- Offline settings: Messages and behavior when agents are unavailable.
- Routing rules: Define which agents or chat queues receive chats based on criteria.
- Under the Assign to option, select a team member who will own chat interactions and put their Availability based on their working hours.
- You can show the reply time so your visitors know what to expect in terms of response time.
- Once you're happy with the design, click Preview to see how the chat widget will look on your website.
- If satisfied, head back to Automations>Chatflows and toggle the switch on to Add to website pages.
- Click on the Edit button and move to the Target tab.
- You can define page rules where the chat would be visible.
- You can select the display avatar in the Display tab.
