How to Change Data Type in Power BI

Here’s how to do it:

1. Click on the visual table.
2. Click 'Transform Data' to open Power Query Editor.
3. In the table preview, find the column whose data type you want to change.
4. Click the small data type icon in the column header. Select the desired data type.
5. After you're done, click 'Close & Apply'.
