How to Change Issue Type in Jira

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to change issue type in Jira:

Open the Jira ticket from your board.
Click on the three dots menu on the top right and hit Move.
If it's a services project, you might need to move the ticket to a different project that has the other issue type configured. (Scrum board etc.)
Choose the new issue type you want (Example: "Story.")
Hit Next.
Update the Status to which the converted issue should be set.‍
Confirm to finish.
