How to Create a Database in Notion
Here is a simple guide to creating databases in Notion:
- Databases in Notion can take shape in many forms, the simplest of which is a simple table. To create one, use a slash command or click on it from the options at the bottom.
- If you click on the three dotted menu, you will see more formats for creating and viewing a database.
- Or, use a slash command (/database) to view and insert a database anywhere on a page.
- For this example we'll be using an inline database. Simply click to insert.
- You now have a database in the form of a table. For more options click on the 6 dotted icon for the menu.
- Among other things from here, you can turn your inline database into a full page.
- On doing so, your inline database will change into a link to the full page database. Click on it to open the full view.
- You now know how to insert, modify and create databases in Notion. You can use these to insert data, add properties and so on.
