How To Create Templates In Pipedrive
Here is how you can create templates in Pipedrive:
- Go to the profile icon to view options.
- Select Personal preferences.
- Go to Email sync.
- Verify you have email sync enabled and active since it is required for creating email templates.
- If you do already have Email Sync connected, you should see different tabs and options. If so, move on to the next step.
- Go to the Inbox section in Pipedrive.
- Click on + New email to compose a new email.
- Once the compose window opens, you will notice a Choose template option below the subject line. Click on it to view templates or create a new one.
- From this list you choose or edit an already existing template for your mail or click on + Save draft as template to create your own.
- Enter a name for your template.
- Select Visibility, Private will make it so that only you will be able to use this template and Shared will allow your entire team to use the same template.
- Now, create your template by typing in your email content.
- A special feature that Pipedrive allows is Inserting fields in your templates. This allow you to set dynamic fields in the body that will take data from the connected deal or contact. Simply click to use.
- Select the field type followed by field name and click to insert.
- When your template is ready, click on Save on the bottom right.
- Click on the Choose template button again to see your custom template as an option.
- Click on the template to select.
- Your template will be inserted and is ready to be further edited, connected to deals, etc.
