How to Customize Navigation Pane MS Access
Customizing the Navigation Pane in Microsoft Access allows you to organize and manage database objects such as tables, queries, forms, and reports. Here's how you can customize it:
- Open your desired database.
- Right-click on the top bar of the Navigation Pane and select 'Navigation Options...'.
- In the 'Navigation Options' dialog, click 'Add Item' to create a new custom category.
- Double-click the new category to rename it.
- Under the selected category, click ‘Add Group’ to create a new group.
- Rename groups by clicking on their names and clicking on the 'Rename Groups' button.
