How to Import Text From Notion to Buffer
It is very easy to import text from Notion to Buffer via Zapier. Here’s a short guide on how to do it:
- Go to the left-side panel, then click 'Create'.
- Choose 'Zaps' from the list of options.
- After that, click the 'Trigger' tab to start the integration process.
- Search for 'Notion' and select it from the suggested results.
- Next, click the 'Trigger Event' menu to view the available options.
- Choose 'Updated Page' as the Trigger Event.
- Tap 'Sign In' afterwards, then log into your Notion account.
- Subsequently, review the required permissions and then tap 'Select Pages' to proceed.
- Tick the checkbox beside the page that contains the text you want to import, then click 'Allow Access'.
- Specify the 'Page ID' of the selected Notion page.
- Once done, click 'Continue' to run your input and test the Trigger.
- Select the record that contains the text you want to import, then click 'Continue With Selected Record'.
- Following that, search for 'Buffer' and choose it as the Action app.
- Next, click the 'Action Event' menu to proceed further.
- Select 'Create Idea' from the list of options. Alternatively, you may pick other Action Events from the list. Just make sure that they match the integration structure you want to implement.
- Click 'Sign In' afterwards and then log into your active Buffer account.
- Subsequently, click 'Allow Access' to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Specify the Buffer Organization you prefer to use. Simply click the 'Organization' menu and choose one from the available choices.
- To import the text from Notion, click the 'Add' icon inside the Title field.
- Select 'Properties Title Title Plain Text' from the given options.
- Do the same thing for the Text field. Tap the 'Add' icon next to it.
- Select 'Content Markdown' from the provided list.
- Once done, click 'Continue' to publish the integration.
- After completing these steps, your Notion account will be integrated with Buffer. You can now directly import text from your Notion page to Buffer posts or ideas.
