How to Use Boolean Search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Here’s how to use Boolean search in LinkedIn sales navigator
- Open up Sales Navigator and click on the "Lead Filter" tab to get started.
- If you're looking for something specific, put quotes around it, like "Supply Chain Director". Now you'll see the list of leads with those exact keywords.
- To exclude certain keywords, use (NOT) before the keyword. For example, 'Chief Executive Officer NOT sales'. You'll see all the leads with the exact keywords 'Chief Executive Officer but not in sales'.
- Use (AND) to find results for both the keywords you’re searching for. For instance, 'Sales AND Marketing specialist'. You'll see the all leads with both 'Sales' and 'Marketing' in their title
- Use parentheses to search for leads who are part of multiple functions. For eg. (VP OR Head) AND (Sales OR Marketing). The results will show all the leads who are either VP Sales or Head of Marketing, or VP Marketing, or Head of Sales.
