How to Change Opportunity Owner in Salesforce

Here's a step by step guide on how to change opportunity owner in Salesforce:

1. Go to the Opportunities tab.
2. Locate the specific opportunity you want to modify.
3. Click on the opportunity name to open its detail page.
4. Look for the Opportunity Owner field in the details section.
5. Click the dropdown arrow next to the current owner's name.
6. From the list, choose the user you want to transfer ownership to.
7. A checkbox for Send Notification Email might be available.
   • Selecting this will inform the new owner about the reassignment.
8. Click on Change Owner to finalize the transfer of ownership.
