How To Find Bounce Rate in Google Analytics
After the GA4 update, finding Bounce Rate has become nearly impossible. We'll take you through the steps to find it back and also a workaround to find it in case you can't. Let's head to GA4 and sign to your account.
- Navigate to the Reports in the left-hand sidebar.
- Under Engagement.
- Click on Pages and Screens or Landing Pages based on what you want to track.
- To add bounce rate as a metric, look for the Edit symbol button near the top of the page and click on it.
- Click on Metrics to see a dropdown with a bunch of parameters.
- Click on Add Metric and select "Bounce Rate" from the available options.
- In case you don't find Bounce Rate, Add Engagement rate.
- Scroll down to see summaries by landing page to learn their bounce rates.
You can also now refer to the Engagement data to help you find the Bounce rate.
If Engagement rate is 54% then Bounce rate will be = 100% - Engagement rate. So that's 46%
