Quick summary
To remove a LinkedIn recommendation, navigate to the Recommendations section of your profile and use the Manage recommendations panel to delete or hide any given or received recommendation. Changes take effect immediately after clicking Save.
Steps
- Click your profile picture or name to go to your LinkedIn profile.
- Click 'View Profile' from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the 'Recommendations' section and click the pencil icon to open editing options.
- Select 'Given' under the 'Manage recommendations' panel to view recommendations you have written.
- Select the 'Delete' option to permanently remove the recommendation from your profile.
- Toggle off the button to hide a received recommendation — it will no longer be visible on your profile.
- Click 'Save' to apply all changes.
