How to Verify Google Search Console?

There are various methods to verify Google Search Console. We’ll show you to how to use the HTML file upload (recommended) method.

Add a new website property to Search Console.
Choose the property type.
- If you enter a domain name, you’ll be able to verify your website via DNS.
- The URL prefix option allows you to choose between four verification methods.

Enter the URL prefix and click “Continue”.
Choose the “HTML file” option.
Download the HTML file and upload it to your website's root directory using an FTP client or file manager provided by your web hosting provider.
Click "Verify" to complete the process.

💡 Please note: If you don’t have server access to upload an HTML file, you can also verify your site with a simple HTML tag. Just copy the tag from the "URL prefix" section in Search Console and paste it into the <head> section of your website's homepage.
