Why did this demo work?

👉 Tailor content to user types

Claudia's first step was to recognize that the customer base consists of two distinct user groups: Group Administrators and Individual Users. She created a branched demo that allowed each type of user to explore only the features relevant to them, making the onboarding process seamless and tailored to their specific needs.

👉 Support with microtutorials

In addition to the main demo, Claudia developed a set of detailed microtutorials for common user actions. These microtutorials, linked from the FAQs page and categorized by user type, offered step-by-step guidance for users performing key tasks, reducing reliance on customer support.

👉 Highlight only the key features

Claudia's team was already very familiar with the most commonly used features in the previous iteration of the platform, which had been in use for 10+ years. They used this knowledge to select key features to highlight in the main product tour.

👉 Collaborate with the support team to refine the demo content

Claudia worked closely with the customer support team to ensure the demo content addressed the most common user requests. This feedback helped shape the microtutorials, ensuring they were as helpful as possible for end-users.
